What are the common control unit failures and solutions for brushless motor motor automatic rotor dynamic balancing machine?


The control unit of the brushless motor motor automatic rotor dynamic balancing machine is responsible for the overall operation of the equipment, parameter setting, data processing and other important functions, and once a failure occurs, it will affect the normal work of the equipment. The following are the common faults and corresponding solutions:


1、Power supply related faults


l Failure phenomenon


The control unit can not be powered on, the display does not show, the equipment does not work.


l Failure causes


The power plug is loose and the power cord is damaged, resulting in power supply interruption.


The power module inside the control unit is faulty, such as damaged capacitors, burnt power supply chip, etc..


The fuse is blown, cutting off the power supply.


l Solution


Check whether the power plug is plugged in properly and whether the power cord is damaged, if there is any problem, repair or replace it in time.


Use a multimeter to detect the input and output voltages of the power supply module to determine whether there is a failure. If you are sure that the power module is damaged, you need to replace the power module with the same model.


Check the status of the fuse, if it is blown, check whether there is a short circuit and other problems, and replace the fuse with the same specification after troubleshooting.


 


2、Display and operation interface failure


l Failure phenomenon


The display screen is black, gray, flickering, and cannot display information normally.


The operation buttons are out of order, unable to input commands or invalid parameter settings.


l Failure causes


The display connection line is loose, poor contact or damaged.


The display driver board is faulty and cannot drive the display correctly.


The internal contacts of the operation buttons are oxidized or damaged, or the button circuit is faulty.


l Solution


Check the display connecting wire to make sure that it is firmly connected, and replace it in time if it is damaged.


Check the display driver board, if there is a failure, try to repair or replace the driver board.


For key failure, first clean the key contacts, if still can not be resolved, then replace the key; if the key circuit failure, the need for circuit repair.


 


3, data processing and transmission failure


l Failure phenomenon


Measurement data is inaccurate, the amount of displayed unevenness deviates greatly from the actual situation.


The data transmission between the control unit and other components (such as sensors, actuators) is interrupted, resulting in the equipment can not be coordinated normally.


l Cause of Failure


The data processing chip inside the control unit is faulty and cannot accurately process the data collected by the sensor.


The communication interface is damaged, such as serial port, network port, etc., affecting data transmission.


Errors or loopholes in the software program, resulting in abnormal data processing and transmission.


l Solution


Test the data processing chip, if it is determined that the chip is damaged, replace the chip.


Check the communication interface, use professional tools to test the communication function of the interface, if the interface is damaged, repair or replace.


Try to update the software program of the control unit to repair possible errors and loopholes; if the problem still exists, contact the equipment manufacturer for technical support.

4、Logic control failure


l Failure phenomenon


The equipment is unable to carry out automatic balancing operation according to the preset program, such as abnormal rotor rotation, aggravation or de-weighting action is inaccurate.


The control unit sends out wrong control commands, causing the equipment to malfunction.


l Cause


The logic algorithm in the control program is wrong, resulting in unreasonable control instructions.


The input signal is abnormal, such as the sensor feedback signal is inaccurate, affecting the judgment of the control unit.


The logic circuit of the control unit is faulty and cannot execute the control logic correctly.


l Solution


Check the control program, debug and correct the logic algorithm to ensure the correctness of the program.


Examine the source of the input signals, check whether the sensors work properly, and process and correct the abnormal signals.


Use logic analyzers and other tools to test the logic circuit of the control unit to find out the failure point and repair it.


 


5、Overheating fault


l Fault phenomenon


Control unit shell temperature is too high, and even overheating protection and shutdown phenomenon.


l Failure causes


Control unit internal heat dissipation is poor, such as heat dissipation fan damage, heat sink blockage.


Control unit for a long time, high load operation, generating too much heat can not be distributed in a timely manner.


l Solution


Check whether the cooling fan is functioning normally, if damaged, replace it in time; clean up the dust and debris on the heat sink to ensure that the heat dissipation channel is smooth.


Optimize the working mode of the control unit to avoid prolonged high load operation; if necessary, increase auxiliary cooling equipment, such as air conditioners, cooling cabinets, etc..
