What are the common sensor failures and their solutions for DC motor motor semi-automatic spring brush machines?

The common sensor failures of DC motor motor semi-automatic spring brush machine and their solutions are as follows:

1、Position sensor failure

Failure phenomenon: inaccurate detection of motor rotor position, resulting in poor motor commutation, unstable speed or unable to start normally; in the process of brushing, the position control of the brush head deviates, affecting the brushing effect.

Solution: Check whether the installation position of the sensor is correct, if there is any deviation, readjust the installation position and fix it firmly; use a multimeter to detect whether the output signal of the sensor is normal, if the signal is abnormal, it may be the internal damage of the sensor, and the sensor needs to be replaced; check whether the connecting line between the sensor and the controller is loose, disconnected or short-circuited, and if there is any problem, repair or replace the connecting line.

2, speed sensor failure

Failure phenomenon: the motor running speed can not be accurately measured or displayed, resulting in the inability to adjust the motor speed according to the actual demand; speed sensor failure may lead to generator control system abnormalities, such as overcurrent protection, overload protection and other malfunctions.

Solution: clean the surface of the speed sensor and the induction part, remove dust, oil and other impurities, to ensure that the sensor can accurately measure the speed; check whether the gap between the sensor's probe and the object to be measured is appropriate, the gap is too large or too small will affect the measurement accuracy, if necessary, adjust the gap; the use of oscilloscopes and other equipment to detect the sensor's output waveforms, such as waveforms are abnormal, it may be the sensor's internal circuit failure, need to replace the sensor or repair. If the waveform is abnormal, it may be the internal circuit of the sensor is faulty, and the sensor needs to be replaced or repaired.

3、Current sensor failure

Failure phenomenon: unable to accurately measure the motor's operating current, resulting in motor overload protection failure or malfunction; current sensor failure may make the motor control system can not be based on the actual current situation for effective control and regulation, affecting the performance and life of the motor.

Solution: Check whether the range of the current sensor matches the working current of the motor, if the range is too small, it may lead to inaccurate measurement or damage to the sensor, and need to replace the sensor with the appropriate range; use the standard ammeter to compare the measurement with the current sensor, if the measurement result deviates from the standard ammeter, the sensor may be degraded in accuracy or damaged, and need to be calibrated or replaced; check whether the installation of the current sensor is correct, whether there is loose contact, or whether there is any damage to the current sensor. Check whether the current sensor is installed correctly, whether there is loose, poor contact and other issues, if any problems, re-installation and ensure that the connection is firm.

4、Temperature sensor failure

Failure phenomenon: unable to accurately measure the temperature of the motor or key components, resulting in high temperature can not be timely alarm or take protective measures; temperature sensor failure may cause the motor control system to misjudgment of the motor's operating state, affecting the operation of the motor.

Solution: Check whether the probe of the temperature sensor is in close contact with the measured object, if the contact is poor, it will lead to inaccurate temperature measurement, it is necessary to reinstall the probe and ensure good contact; use a thermometer and other tools to actually measure the temperature of the motor or key components, and compare it with the measured value of the temperature sensor, such as a large deviation, it may be a sensor failure, and it is necessary to replace the sensor; check whether the temperature sensor's line is normal, whether there is a broken circuit, short circuit or poor contact and other problems, if any problems, repair or replace the line.

5、Pressure sensor failure

Failure phenomenon: in the pressure detection needs of the system, such as hydraulic or pneumatic systems, pressure sensor failure will lead to pressure can not be accurately measured or controlled, affecting the pressure regulation and stability of the brush machine; pressure sensor failure may trigger the system's pressure abnormality, such as pressure is too high or too low, posing a threat to the operation of the equipment.

Solution: Check whether the pressure sensor pickup port is clogged, such as clogging, will lead to pressure can not be properly transferred to the sensor, need to clean the pickup port; calibration of the pressure sensor, you can use a standard pressure source to calibrate the sensor, such as calibration is still inaccurate, it may be an internal failure of the sensor, you need to replace the sensor; check the sealing of the pressure sensor, such as sealing bad, may lead to pressure Check the sealing condition of the pressure sensor, if the sealing is not good, it may lead to pressure leakage and affect the measurement accuracy.
