What are the common mechanical failures and solutions for flow motor motor automatic front end dielectric assembly machine?


First, transmission components failure


1, belt and chain failure


Failure phenomenon:


Belt or chain slack, resulting in unstable power transmission, the assembly machine's working rhythm is disrupted, there may be meson assembly position is not accurate or assembly is not complete.


Wear and aging of the belt, cracks on the surface, tooth loss or breakage, and loose, deformed or broken links of the chain will interrupt the transmission and stop the equipment from running.


Solution:


For loose belts or chains, the proper tension can be restored by adjusting the tensioning device. If the automatic tensioning device fails, it is necessary to check and repair its mechanical structure, such as insufficient spring elasticity can be replaced by replacing the spring, or the pulley is badly worn then replace the pulley.


When the belt or chain is worn or damaged, it must be promptly replaced with a new part of the same specifications. When installing a new belt or chain, pay attention to the correct installation method to ensure good meshing with the gear or sprocket. At the same time, check and clean the transmission parts to avoid impurities to accelerate the wear of new parts.


 

2、Gear failure


Failure phenomenon:


Gear wear, wear marks, pits or spalling on the tooth surface, will lead to a decline in transmission accuracy, vibration and noise, affecting the precise assembly of the meson.


Poor gear mesh, may be due to installation errors, shaft parallelism or center distance does not meet the requirements, resulting in gears in the process of stalling, jumping teeth phenomenon, serious damage to the gear.


Solution:


For gears with light wear, the transmission can be improved by adjusting the gear meshing clearance. Use a tool such as a plug ruler to measure and adjust the proper clearance, while checking the lubricant to ensure good lubrication. If wear is severe, replace the gears with new ones and ensure installation accuracy, including using specialized tools to calibrate the parallelism and center distance of the shafts so that the gears mesh properly.


For poor gear meshing, it is necessary to recheck and adjust the shaft parallelism, center distance and other installation parameters. The center distance can be adjusted by shims, and the parallelism of the shaft can be checked and adjusted using tools such as a percentile table to ensure the correct meshing of the gears.


 

Second, fixture and robotic arm failure


1, fixture problems


Failure phenomenon:


The clamping force of the fixture is insufficient to firmly fix the meson or other parts, and the parts are easily shifted during the assembly process, resulting in a decline in assembly quality.


The positioning accuracy of the fixture decreases, probably due to the fixture's positioning pin wear, fixture seat deformation, etc., so that the meson's positioning is inaccurate, affecting the subsequent assembly operation.


Solution:


Check the clamping mechanism of the fixture, such as the cylinder, hydraulic cylinder or clamping spring. If the cylinder or hydraulic cylinder pressure is insufficient, check whether the air pressure or hydraulic system is normal, adjust the pressure parameters; if the clamping spring elasticity is insufficient, replace the spring. At the same time, according to the size and shape of the parts, adjust the size of the clamping force to ensure that both firmly clamped parts, but not damage to the parts.


For fixtures with decreased positioning accuracy, check the wear of the positioning pins and replace them with new ones if they are worn. If the fixture seat is deformed, the fixture seat needs to be repaired or replaced, recalibrate the positioning accuracy of the fixture, you can use standard gauges and positioning blocks to assist in calibration.


 

2、Mechanical arm failure


Fault phenomenon:


The movement of the mechanical arm is inflexible, which may be due to poor lubrication at the joints, bearing wear, deformation of the mechanical arm linkage or stuck by foreign objects, resulting in the mechanical arm being unable to accurately grasp and place the meson.


The positioning accuracy of the mechanical arm deviates, which may be caused by mechanical wear due to long-term use, failure of the electrical control system or loss of the zero position of the mechanical arm.


Solution:


For a mechanical arm with inflexible movement, first check the lubrication at the joints and add the appropriate amount of lubricant. If the bearings are worn out, the bearings need to be replaced; for the case of deformation of the connecting rod or foreign objects stuck, repair the deformed parts or clear away the foreign objects. In daily maintenance, check the moving parts of the robotic arm regularly to find and deal with potential problems in time.


When the positioning accuracy of the robotic arm deviates, use professional calibration tools and methods to recalibrate the zero position and movement trajectory of the robotic arm. If the accuracy problem is caused by the failure of the electrical control system, you need to check the motor driver, encoder and other electrical components, and debug and repair accordingly. The positioning accuracy of the robotic arm is detected and adjusted by precision testing equipment, such as laser tracker.

Third, shaft and bearing failure


1, shaft problems


Failure phenomenon:


The surface wear of the shaft may be due to long-term friction, poor lubrication or improper coordination with other parts, resulting in a reduction in the diameter of the shaft, affecting the installation accuracy of the parts and transmission stability.


Bending and deformation of the shaft may be due to excessive axial or radial force, vibration of the machine or improper installation, etc., so that the shaft vibration and noise in the process of operation, which may cause the machine to fail to work properly in serious cases.


Solution:


For light wear on the shaft surface, surface repair techniques such as chrome plating and spraying can be used to restore the size and accuracy of the shaft. After restoration, the shaft should be tested for accuracy to ensure that it meets the requirements. If the wear is serious, it is necessary to replace the shaft with a new one and ensure the accuracy of the fit with other components, such as using the appropriate tolerance fit and paying attention to cleanliness and centering during installation.


When shafts are bent out of shape, different repair measures need to be taken depending on the degree of bending. For slight bending, it can be repaired by straightening, such as using a press or professional straightening equipment; if the bending is serious, the shaft should be replaced with a new one, and the reasons leading to the bending of the shaft should be examined and adjusted, such as improving the force of the machine, and reducing the force of the shaft by increasing the support points or optimizing the transmission layout.


 

2、Bearing failure


Failure phenomenon:


Bearing wear, the gap between the rolling body and the inner and outer rings increases, it will produce abnormal vibration and noise, and it will be hot during operation.


Bearing jamming, may be due to insufficient lubrication, entry of foreign objects or the quality of the bearing itself, resulting in the bearing can not rotate normally, so that the parts connected to it stop working.


Solution:


For worn bearings, first check the lubrication and replenish or replace the grease. If the wear is serious, replace the bearing with a new one and pay attention to the cleanliness and correct installation method to avoid damaging the bearing again. When installing new bearings, use suitable tools and follow the correct installation sequence.


When the bearing is seized, it is necessary to stop the machine operation immediately, dismantle and clean the bearing to check whether there is any foreign matter entering. If the bearing is damaged, replace it with a new one and make sure the lubrication system is working properly to prevent similar problems from recurring. At the same time, check the sealing device of the bearing and repair or replace it in time if it is damaged to prevent impurities from entering the bearing.


 

Fourth, the work platform failure


Failure phenomenon:


Wear or scratches on the surface of the working platform will affect the placement accuracy of the meson and other parts, resulting in inaccurate assembly position.


The flatness of the working platform decreases, which may be due to long-term placement of heavy objects, uneven force or material aging, etc., so that the working platform is tilted or uneven, affecting the assembly operation.


Solution:


For light wear or scratches on the surface of the working platform, it can be repaired by grinding and polishing. In the process of repair, use suitable grinding tools and polishing materials to ensure surface accuracy. If the wear is serious, it is necessary to replace the working platform or cover the surface with a new layer of wear-resistant material, such as stainless steel plate or wear-resistant plastic plate.


When the flatness of the working platform decreases, use tools such as a level to detect it, and restore the flatness of the platform by adjusting the supporting feet or adding shims to the bottom of the platform. In the process of equipment installation and use, pay attention to the uniform distribution of heavy loads to avoid excessive local stress on the platform.
