What are the common sensor failures and their solutions for DC motor motor automatic oven machine?
1、Temperature sensor failure
Failure phenomenon:
Inaccurate temperature readings. The temperature displayed may be higher or lower than the actual temperature, which can lead to deviations in the heating control of the oven machine. For example, the actual temperature has reached the set point, but the sensor shows that the temperature is too low, which will cause the oven to continue to heat up, which may lead to burnt food.
No reading from the temperature sensor. In this case, the oven may not start the heating function properly, or it may keep heating at high power because the control system is not receiving temperature feedback.
Solution:
For inaccurate temperature readings, first check that the sensor is installed in the correct position. If installed in an improper location, such as too close or too far from the heating element, it may be disturbed and cause inaccurate readings. The sensor should be installed in the proper location according to the equipment manual. Secondly, the sensor may be covered with contaminants such as oil, dust, etc., which may affect its heat transfer performance. Contaminants can be removed by gently wiping the sensor probe with a clean cloth. If the reading is still inaccurate after these treatments, the sensor itself may be faulty and needs to be replaced with a new temperature sensor.
When there is no reading from the temperature sensor, first check the wiring connecting the sensor. Look for loose, disconnected or shorted wiring. If it is a wiring problem, reconnect the wiring or replace the damaged wiring section. If the line is normal, then it is likely that the sensor is damaged internally, and the sensor needs to be replaced.
2, humidity sensor failure (if this function)
Fault phenomenon:
The humidity reading is incorrect. This can affect how well the oven works in some environments where humidity control is required, for example, when baking certain foods that require a specific humidity environment, incorrect humidity readings can lead to a reduction in the quality of the food.
The humidity sensor has failed to provide humidity information. This may prevent the humidity control related functions of the oven from working properly.
Solution:
For humidity reading errors, similar to temperature sensors, first check that the sensor is mounted in the proper location. Also, the humidity sensor may be out of calibration due to long term use. You can try to recalibrate the humidity sensor by following the steps in the device manual and using a standard humidity source to calibrate the sensor. If the calibration still reads incorrectly, it may be necessary to clean the sensor probe, as impurities such as dust may be attracted to the probe and affect the humidity measurement. If the problem persists after cleaning, the sensor itself may be faulty and need to be replaced.
When the humidity sensor fails, first check whether the connection line is normal. If the line is normal, consider the sensor may have been damaged, you need to replace the new humidity sensor to restore the humidity detection function.
3, door status sensor failure
Failure phenomenon:
When the oven door is closed, the sensor misjudges the door as not closed. This can cause the oven machine to fail to start the heating program properly, as the equipment's guarding mechanism may prevent heating while the door is not closed.
When the door is open, the sensor indicates that the door is closed. This is a dangerous situation and the oven machine may continue to heat with the door open, which can cause accidents such as scalding.
Solution:
When the door is closed but the sensor incorrectly indicates that it is not closed, check to see if the mounting position of the door status sensor has shifted. If the position is shifted, readjust the sensor position so that it can accurately detect the closed state of the door. At the same time, check the trigger mechanism of the sensor, such as the microswitch or the magnet part of the magnetic sensor, to see if it is damaged or stuck by foreign objects. If it is damaged, the trigger mechanism needs to be replaced; if it is stuck, clean up the foreign matter to make it work normally again.
For the case where the door is open but the sensor indicates that it is closed, first stop the operation of the oven machine to ensure that it is normal. Then check the wiring to the sensor for a short circuit, as a short circuit may cause the sensor to remain closed. If the line is short-circuited, repair the line; if the line is normal, check whether the sensor itself is damaged, if so, you need to replace the sensor.
