What are the common mechanical failures and solutions for brushless motor motor automatic rotor rewinders?


Brushless motor motor automatic rotor skimmer common mechanical failures and solutions are as follows:


1、Belt transmission failure


l Failure phenomenon: the belt slips, resulting in unstable rotor conveying speed or can not be transported normally; belt wear is serious, cracks, breaks and so on.


l Failure causes


Insufficient belt tension, belt elongation after a long time of use, without timely adjustment of the tensioning device.


The surface of the pulley has oil, dust and other debris, affecting the friction between the belt and the pulley.


The quality of the belt is not good, or the use time is too long, natural aging wear.


l Solution


Adjust the belt tension pulley to increase the belt tension and ensure sufficient friction between the belt and the pulley.


Wipe the surface of the pulley with a clean cloth to remove oil, dust and other debris, and use a special cleaner if necessary.


Replace the new belt with one of qualified quality, and at the same time, check and replace the belt regularly according to the use of equipment.

2、Chain drive failure


l Failure phenomenon: the chain is loose, jumping and abnormal sound when running; the chain is worn out seriously, resulting in chain link elongation and poor coordination with the sprocket.


l Failure reason


After the chain is used for a long time, the gap between the links increases, resulting in chain elongation and loosening.


Sprocket installation is not parallel or sprocket wear is not uniform, so that the chain force is not uniform.


Insufficient lubrication of the chain aggravates the wear between the chain and the sprocket.


l Solution


Adjust the chain tensioning device to keep the chain at proper tension. If the chain extends too much, remove the appropriate amount of chain links.


Re-adjust the installation position of the sprocket to ensure that the parallelism between the sprockets meets the requirements, and replace the sprocket with one that is badly worn.


Regularly lubricate the chain, choose suitable lubricant and refuel according to the specified lubrication period.


 


3、Bearing failure


l Failure phenomenon: the bearing is hot, accompanied by abnormal noise; the bearing is damaged, resulting in the rotor rotation is not flexible or stuck.


l Failure causes


Improper installation of bearings, such as installation of too tight or too loose, resulting in uneven bearing force on the shaft.


Lack of oil or deterioration of lubricating oil in bearings, which can not effectively lubricate and dissipate heat.


Bearing quality problem, or bearing fatigue wear after long-term use, ball damage and so on.


l Solution


Reinstall the bearings according to the correct installation method and requirements to ensure the installation accuracy.


Regularly check the lubrication of the bearings, replenish or replace the lubricant in time, and choose the appropriate grease.

4、Failure of guide rail

There are foreign objects on the surface of the guide rail, such as iron filings, dust, etc., which hinder the movement of the rotor.


The installation of the guide rail is not flat or the level is not in accordance with the requirements, resulting in uneven force on the rotor.


The guide rail is used for a long time, lack of maintenance, insufficient lubrication, aggravating the wear.


l Solution


Clean up the foreign matter on the surface of the guide rail, clean the guide rail regularly, can use compressed air or brush and other tools.


Re-adjust the installation position of the guide rail, use tools such as a level meter to measure and adjust to ensure the flatness and levelness of the guide rail.


Regular lubrication of the guide rail, apply the appropriate amount of guide oil, while according to the wear and tear of the guide rail, timely repair or replacement.


 


5、Fixture failure


l Failure phenomenon: the fixture can not firmly clamp the rotor, resulting in the rotor shifted in the process of receiving; the fixture clamped the rotor surface.


l Failure causes


The clamping force of the fixture is insufficient, which may be caused by the aging of the spring of the clamping mechanism, insufficient air pressure, etc. The clamping block of the fixture is worn out.


The clamping block of the fixture is worn out, and the contact with the rotor surface is not close enough to provide sufficient clamping force.


The design or adjustment of the fixture is not reasonable, the clamping position is not accurate, resulting in injuries to the rotor.


l Solution


Check the spring of the clamping mechanism, if it is aging or damaged, replace the spring in time; check the air pressure system to ensure that the air pressure is normal, adjust the air pressure value if necessary.


Replace the worn out clamping block, choose suitable material and shape to ensure good contact between the clamping block and the rotor surface.


Redesign or adjust the clamping position and method of clamping, carry out trial clamping test to ensure that the clamp can firmly clamp the rotor, but will not clip the rotor surface.
