What are the common mechanical failures and solutions for motor motor rotor automatic rewinders?
The following are the common mechanical failures and solutions of the motor motor rotor automatic rewinding machine:
First, the transmission device failure
Failure phenomenon:
The rotor transfer speed is unstable, sometimes fast and sometimes slow. This may be caused by loose conveyor belts, drive motor failure or inconsistent wear of the conveyor rollers.
The conveyor belt runs off, resulting in the rotor in the transmission process position shift, or even fall.
Solution:
l For loose conveyor belts, adjust the tensioning device of the conveyor belt. By rotating the tensioning wheel or adjusting the tensioning bolts, the belt can reach the proper tensioning degree. For example, in some receivers with tensioning bolts, rotate the bolts half a turn at a time to check the tension of the conveyor until the conveyor no longer slips when running.
l If the drive motor is faulty, first check whether the power connection of the motor is normal, and whether there is any loose or broken circuit. If the power supply is normal, the brushes inside the motor may be worn out or the winding may be short-circuited. For brush wear, need to replace the same type of brush; for the winding short circuit problem, generally need professional maintenance personnel to repair the motor winding or replace the motor.
l When the conveyor rollers are worn inconsistently, check the wear degree of the rollers. For the less worn rollers, the height difference can be compensated by adjusting its position; for the seriously worn rollers, they need to be replaced in time to ensure that all the rollers are of the same diameter to ensure the smooth operation of the conveyor belt. After replacing the rollers, the position of the conveyor belt should be re-calibrated to prevent run-off.
Second, gripping device failure
Failure phenomenon:
The gripper is unable to accurately grasp the rotor, and there is a deviation in the gripping position or it cannot be grasped at all. This may be due to deformation of the mechanical structure of the gripper, air circuit (if pneumatic gripper) or circuit (if electric gripper) failure.
Insufficient gripping force of the gripper causes the rotor to fall off during the gripping process.
Solution:
l When the mechanical structure of the gripper is deformed, the gripper needs to be calibrated and repaired. If the deformation is slight, tools can be used to correct it; if the deformation is serious, it may be necessary to replace the gripper parts. At the same time, check whether the installation position of the gripper is correct; if there is any deviation, the installation position needs to be readjusted to ensure that the gripper can be accurately positioned to the rotor.
l For air circuit failure (pneumatic gripper), first check whether the air source pressure is normal. If the pressure is insufficient, you need to check the air pump and air tube for leakage. You can check the leakage point by applying soapy water on the air tube connection, the place where air bubbles are generated is the leakage point, repair or replace the damaged air tube in time. Also check whether the seals inside the cylinder are damaged, if damaged, need to replace the seals to restore normal air pressure drive.
l For circuit failure (electric gripper), check whether the circuit connection is good, including the motor driver, sensors and control lines. Use a multimeter to check whether the supply voltage of the motor is normal and whether the sensor signal can be transmitted correctly. If the motor is damaged, it is necessary to replace the motor of the same type; if it is a sensor failure, replace or adjust accordingly to the sensor type (such as photoelectric sensor, proximity sensor, etc.).
l If the gripper's gripping force is insufficient, if it is a pneumatic gripper, the air pressure can be increased by adjusting the air pressure regulating valve, so as to increase the gripping force. When adjusting, gradually increase the air pressure and observe the gripping effect of the gripper to avoid damaging the rotor with too high air pressure. If it is an electric gripper, you can check whether the torque setting of the motor is correct, and increase the torque by adjusting the parameters of the motor driver to provide sufficient gripping force.
Third, the pallet device failure
Failure phenomenon:
The pallet cannot be accurately positioned, resulting in inaccurate rotor placement and affecting the neatness of the receipt. This may be due to a decline in the accuracy of the pallet transfer mechanism, positioning sensor failure or the size of the pallet itself deviation.
The pallet lifting mechanism is faulty and cannot be lifted normally, affecting the continuity of the material receiving.
Solution:
l For the problem of decreased precision of the pallet conveyor mechanism, you need to check whether the conveyor chain or belt is loose or worn. If it is loose, adjust the tension; if it is seriously worn, replace the chain or belt. At the same time, check whether the drive motor of the transfer mechanism is working normally, if it is faulty, repair it according to the handling method of the drive motor failure.
l When the positioning sensor is faulty, first check whether the installation position of the sensor is correct, and whether it is loose or covered. If the installation position is correct, use standard test tools (such as photoelectric sensor photoelectric test pen) to detect whether the sensor's output signal is normal. If the signal is not normal, repair or replace accordingly depending on the type of sensor. For example, for photoelectric sensors, the light-emitting diode or the photosensitive element may be damaged and the corresponding parts need to be replaced.
l If the size deviation of the pallet itself leads to inaccurate positioning, the pallet needs to be inspected and replaced. When selecting a new pallet, make sure that its dimensional accuracy meets the requirements of the equipment.
l When the pallet lifting mechanism fails, if it is a hydraulic lifting mechanism, check whether the hydraulic fluid is sufficient, whether the oil pump works normally, and whether there is leakage in the hydraulic pipeline. For the case of insufficient oil, add the appropriate amount of the same type of hydraulic oil; for the oil pump failure or pipeline leakage, the need to repair or replace the corresponding components. If it is an electric lifting mechanism, check the motor, screw, guide rail and other components. If the motor failure, in accordance with the motor failure of the treatment method for repair; if the screw or guide rail wear or jamming, need to clean, lubricate or replace the corresponding parts to restore the normal lifting of the tray.
Fourth, the overall mechanical structure failure
Failure phenomenon:
Abnormal vibration and noise during the operation of the equipment, which may be due to mechanical parts loose, unbalanced or wear and tear.
The frame or shell of the equipment is deformed, affecting the normal operation of the equipment.
Solution:
l For abnormal vibration and noise, first check all the equipment and tighten all the loose bolts and nuts. Especially the connecting parts of key components such as motor and transmission device. If the vibration is caused by unbalanced parts, for example, the rotor of the motor is unbalanced, it is necessary to carry out dynamic balancing correction for the motor. For parts with serious wear and tear, such as bearings and gears, they should be replaced in time to reduce vibration and noise. After replacing the parts, test run the equipment to observe whether the vibration and noise subside.
l When the equipment frame or shell is deformed, the degree and impact of the deformation need to be assessed. If the deformation is mild, it can be repaired by straightening. For metal frames, you can use jacks or professional straightening tools for shaping. If the deformation is severe, it may affect the mechanical performance of the equipment and require replacement of the frame or housing components. After replacement, make sure that the new parts are installed in the correct position and connected tightly with other parts.
