What are the common control unit failures and solutions for motor motor rotor automatic rewinders?
1, power control failure
l Fault phenomenon:
Unable to start: after pressing the start button, the motor motor rotor automatic airfoil machine does not have any response, it may be that the power control module does not deliver the power supply to the motor and related components properly. This may be caused by a blown fuse in the control circuit, a damaged relay, or a faulty power switch.
Frequent Power Failure and Restart: During operation, the unit experiences power failures and then restarts for no apparent reason. This may be due to the overcurrent protection device in the power supply control unit being too sensitive, or poor contact of the power supply line, resulting in an instantaneous power failure.
l Solution:
Check the fuse and relay: first check whether the fuse is blown, if it is blown, you need to replace the fuse with the same specification. At the same time, check whether the relay is working properly, which can be judged by listening to the sound when the relay operates or using a multimeter to measure its on/off condition. If the relay is damaged, it should be replaced in time.
Check the power line and switch: carefully check whether the power line is broken or loose, and for the loose connector, re-insert and tighten it. For the power switch, use a multimeter to test its on-off performance, if damaged, you need to replace the new switch. In addition, for the overcurrent protection device is too sensitive, you can adjust its protection threshold appropriately, but you need to do it within the protection range.
2, speed control failure
l Fault phenomenon:
The speed is unstable: the speed of the fan blade machine is high and low, which may be due to the problems of the governor in the speed control unit, such as poor contact of the governor's potentiometer, or errors in the control algorithm, resulting in the inability to accurately control the speed of the motor.
The speed cannot be adjusted: after adjusting the speed control knob or inputting the speed command, the rotational speed of the air blower does not have any change. It may be that the communication between the speed control unit and the motor is faulty, or the driving circuit inside the speed control module is damaged.
l Solution:
Check the governor and potentiometer: for systems that use a potentiometer to regulate the speed, open the unit case, locate the governor's potentiometer, and clean the potentiometer's contacts with an electronic cleaner to improve poor contact. If the potentiometer is badly damaged, it will need to be replaced with a new one. Also, check the governor's other electronic components for obvious signs of damage.
Check the communication line and drive circuit: Use a multimeter to check whether the communication line between the speed control unit and the motor is smooth, and see whether the line is broken or shorted. For the drive circuit, professionals need to use oscilloscopes and other equipment to detect whether the output signal is normal. If the drive circuit is damaged, you need to repair or replace the corresponding chip according to the specific circuit structure.
3, steering control failure
l Fault phenomenon:
Steering error: the direction of rotation of the fan blade machine is opposite to the expected direction, which may be caused by the wrong steering control signal or the wrong wiring sequence of the motor.
Unable to change the steering: After operating the steering control button or switching the steering control command, the steering of the air blower does not change. This may be due to a malfunction in the logic circuit of the steering control unit or the control signal is not correctly transmitted to the motor.
l Solution:
Check the motor wiring and steering control signal: first check the wiring of the motor to make sure that the wiring sequence is correct. If the wiring is correct, check whether the steering control signal is correctly sent, you can check the indicator light of the control unit or use an oscilloscope to detect the signal to determine. If the signal is incorrect, it is necessary to check the control program or the related control circuit.
Checking the logic circuit and signal transmission: For the logic circuit failure of the steering control unit, professional personnel are required to carry out troubleshooting. You can find the failure point by checking whether the logic chips, capacitors, resistors and other components in the circuit are damaged. At the same time, check whether the signal transmission line is interfered or disconnected to ensure that the steering control signal can be accurately transmitted to the motor.
4、Overload protection fault
l Fault phenomenon:
Frequent triggering of overload protection: under normal operation of the equipment, the overload protection device frequently operates, causing the equipment to stop running. This may be the overload protection threshold is set too low, or the overload protection unit itself is faulty, misjudging the motor in the overload state.
No protection during overload: When the motor is actually in an overload state, the overload protection unit does not act, which can lead to damage to the motor and other related components due to prolonged overload. It may be that the detection element of the overload protection unit fails, or the protection circuit is broken or other faults.
l Solution:
Adjust the overload protection threshold and check the unit: first check whether the threshold setting of the overload protection unit is reasonable or not, you can adjust the threshold appropriately according to the rated power of the motor and the actual operation. If the threshold value is set correctly, check the detection elements inside the overload protection unit, such as current transformers, to see if they work properly. For faulty detection elements, they need to be replaced in time.
Check the protection circuit and related components: use a multimeter to check whether the overload protection circuit is broken or short-circuited, and check whether the fuses, relays, contactors and other components in the circuit work normally. If you find any damaged components, you need to replace them in time to ensure that the overload protection function is normal.
