What are the common electrical failures and solutions for brushless motor motor automatic rotor magnetizer?

The common electrical faults and solutions of brushless motor motor automatic rotor magnetizer are as follows:

1、Power failure

l Failure phenomenon: the magnetizer can not be turned on, the power indicator does not light up.

l Failure causes

The power cord is broken or the plug is loose, resulting in the failure of normal power supply.

The power switch is damaged and cannot conduct the circuit.

The internal fuse is blown, cutting off the circuit to protect the equipment.

l Solution

Check whether the power cord is damaged or broken, and whether the plug is tightly inserted; if there is any problem, replace the power cord or re-insert the plug.

Use a multimeter to check the on/off condition of the power switch, if it is damaged, replace the power switch.

Check whether the fuse is blown, if so, replace the fuse with the same specification, and check whether there are other short-circuit faults resulting in blown fuse.

2. Failure of magnetization control circuit

Failure phenomenon: the magnetization process is unstable, the magnetization intensity cannot reach the set value or the magnetization time is abnormal.

Failure cause

Failure of the relay in the control circuit, such as poor contact, burnt coil, etc., resulting in the magnetization control signal cannot be transmitted normally.

Damaged thyristor (SCR), unable to accurately control the magnetizing current and time.

The control chip or circuit components are aged or damaged, resulting in control logic error.

l Solution

Check the contacts and coils of the relay, clean the oxidized layer on the surface of the contacts, and replace the relay if the coil is burnt.

Test the performance of the thyristor with professional instruments and replace it in time if it is damaged.

Test the control chip and circuit components, refer to the circuit schematic diagram to check whether the parameters and connections of the components are correct, and replace the aging or damaged components.

3、Capacitor failure

l Failure phenomenon: the instantaneous current of magnetization is too large or too small, and the magnetization effect is not good, which may even lead to equipment tripping.

l Failure causes

Capacitor aging, capacity reduction or leakage, affecting the storage and release of magnetizing energy.

Capacitor breakdown and short circuit, causing circuit abnormality.

l Solution

Use capacitance tester to measure the capacitance and leakage, if the capacitance is aging, replace the capacitance with the same specification.

If the capacitor breaks through the short circuit, the capacitor must be replaced immediately, and check whether the circuit components related to it are damaged due to the short circuit.

4, sensor failure

Failure phenomenon: Inaccurate detection of rotor position leads to wrong magnetizing position and affects the performance of the motor.

l Failure causes

Sensor damage, such as Hall sensor internal component failure, can not normally sense the magnetic field changes.

The installation position of the sensor is offset, resulting in inaccurate detection of the rotor position.

l Solution

Use special equipment to test the performance of the sensor, such as Hall sensors can be applied to the magnetic field and measure the output signal to determine whether it is normal, if damaged, then replace the sensor.

Readjust the installation position of the sensor to ensure that it can accurately detect the position of the rotor.

5, drive circuit failure

l Failure phenomenon: the motor drive of the magnetizer is abnormal, the motor does not rotate, the speed is unstable and other phenomena.

l Failure cause

The driver chip is damaged and cannot output the correct driving signal.

The power amplifier in the driving circuit fails, resulting in insufficient or unstable output power.

The power supply of the driving circuit is faulty, and the voltage provided is unstable or abnormal.

l Solution

Detect the input and output signals of the driver chip, if the chip is damaged, replace the driver chip with a new one according to the chip specifications.

Check the working status of the power amplifier, measure its input and output voltage and current, and repair or replace the faulty power amplifier.

Check the power supply of the driver circuit, make sure the voltage is stable within the specified range, repair or replace the faulty components in the power supply module.
