What are the common mechanical failures and solutions for brushless motor motor automatic rotor dynamic balancing machine?

In the process of using the brushless motor motor automatic rotor dynamic balancing machine, some mechanical failures may occur, and the following are the common failures, causes and corresponding solutions:

1、Rotor installation failure

l Failure phenomenon

The rotor cannot rotate normally after installation, and there is a jamming phenomenon.

The dynamic balancing measurement results have poor repeatability and large fluctuations.

l Failure causes

The rotor is not installed in place, the shaft is not properly matched with the mounting holes of the balancing machine, and there is eccentricity or tilt.

The mounting fixture is loose or damaged, and the rotor cannot be firmly clamped.

l Solution

Reinstall the rotor, make sure that the shaft fits accurately with the mounting holes, check whether there are any foreign objects obstructing the installation process, and clean and calibrate the mounting holes if necessary.

Check the mounting fixture, if loose, tighten the bolts; if the fixture is damaged, replace the new fixture in time.

2、Transmission system failure

l Failure phenomenon

Loose or broken transmission belt, resulting in unstable rotor speed or unable to rotate.

Loose coupling connection, resulting in poor power transmission, vibration and noise.

Gear transmission system is worn and stuck, affecting the transmission efficiency and precision.

l Failure causes

The transmission belt is naturally worn after long-term use, or the tension is not properly adjusted.

The coupling is not correctly aligned during installation, or the fixing bolts are loose.

Insufficient lubrication of gears, entry of impurities, or wear caused by long-term heavy-duty operation.

l Solution

Check the tension of the drive belt, if it is slack, adjust the tensioning wheel for tensioning; if the belt is broken, replace the belt with the same specification.

Re-calibrate the installation position of the coupling to ensure that the concentricity of the two shafts is within the permissible range, and tighten the fixing bolts.

Clean and lubricate the gear drive system, add the appropriate lubricant; if the gear is badly worn, replace the gear.

3、Bearing failure

l Failure phenomenon

When the equipment is running, the bearing parts emit abnormal noise, such as humming, clicking sound.

Bearing temperature is too high, even smoke phenomenon.

Radial or axial runout occurs when the rotor is rotating, affecting the dynamic balancing accuracy.

l Failure causes

Insufficient bearing lubrication or deterioration of grease, resulting in increased friction.

Bearing wear is serious after long-term use, and the clearance increases.

The bearings are not installed correctly, resulting in uneven bearing force on the shaft.

External dust, moisture and other impurities enter into the bearing, damaging the internal structure of the bearing.

l Solution

Check the lubrication of the bearings, if the lubrication is insufficient, add the appropriate amount of grease; if the grease is deteriorated, the bearings need to be cleaned and replaced with new grease.

Use professional tools to check the wear of the bearings, if the wear is serious, replace the bearings with the same type in time.

Reinstall the bearings to ensure that the installation process meets the requirements to ensure that the shaft bearing force is uniform.

Take protective measures, such as installing sealing devices to prevent dust, moisture and other impurities from entering the bearings.

4、Vibration system failure

l Failure phenomenon

The overall vibration of the dynamic balancing machine is too large during operation, affecting the measurement accuracy and equipment stability.

The signal detected by the vibration sensor is abnormal and cannot accurately reflect the unbalanced condition of the rotor.

l Cause

The equipment is not installed horizontally, resulting in uneven force on the vibration system.

The elastic elements (such as springs) of the vibration system are damaged or fatigued, affecting the vibration transmission.

The vibration sensor is installed in an inaccurate position or is loose, resulting in signal acquisition errors.

l Solution

Use a level to check the installation level of the equipment, and make the equipment horizontal by adjusting the ground bolts.

Check the elastic elements of the vibration system, and replace the elastic elements in time if they are damaged or fatigued.

Reinstall the vibration sensor to ensure that its installation position is accurate and firm, and calibrate it.

5、Mechanical structure wear and loose

l Fault phenomenon

The gap between the mechanical structure parts of the equipment increases, resulting in shaking and noise during operation.

After long-term use, the precision of some parts decreases, affecting the overall performance of the dynamic balancing machine.

l Failure cause

The friction and wear between the mechanical parts of the machine increase the gap during long-term operation.

The fastening bolts of the equipment are loose and not tightened in time.

l Solution

Repair or replace the worn parts to restore their original precision and clearance.

Regularly check the fastening bolts of the equipment and tighten them in time to ensure the stability of the mechanical structure.
