How to analyze and troubleshoot the faults of brushless motor motor automatic rotor dynamic balancing machine?


When a brushless motor motor motor automatic rotor dynamic balancing machine is in trouble, it can be analyzed and ruled out from the mechanical system, electrical system, sensor and control system, etc. The following are the specific methods:


1、Mechanical system


l Abnormal vibration


Failure analysis: It may be that the rotor is not firmly installed, and displacement occurs during operation; or the bearing is badly worn, resulting in unstable rotation; or the mechanical structure of the balancing machine may be loose, deformed and other problems.

l Rotation noise

Troubleshooting: check the gear mesh, clean up the gear gap in the foreign matter; adjust the belt tightness, or replace the worn belt; open the motor, check the internal parts, tighten the loose parts, replace the damaged parts.

2、Electrical system


l Motor does not rotate


Failure analysis: it may be power supply failure, such as power line breakage, loose plug, etc.; or motor winding short circuit, broken; may also be drive failure, such as drive parameter setting error, component damage, etc..


Troubleshooting method: Check the power cord and plug to ensure that the power supply is normally connected; use a multimeter to detect the resistance of the motor winding to determine whether there is a short circuit or broken circuit, if there is a problem, then replace the motor; check whether the drive parameters are set correctly, and use professional tools to detect whether the components of the drive are damaged, such as damage to the maintenance or replacement.


l Motor overheating


Failure analysis: it may be that the motor load is too large, exceeding the rated load; or poor heat dissipation, high ambient temperature around the motor, cooling fan failure, etc.; it may also be that there is a local short-circuit in the motor winding, resulting in excessive current.


Elimination methods: check the load of the rotor to ensure that it does not exceed the rated load of the motor; clean up the motor cooling fan and the dust on the fins to ensure that the heat dissipation is good, check whether the cooling fan is functioning properly, if there is a failure in time to repair or replace it; the use of professional equipment to detect the motor windings, to find and repair the short-circuit faults.


 

3、Sensor and control system


l Inaccurate measurement data


Failure analysis: the sensor may be damaged or aging, resulting in inaccurate measurement signals; or the sensor is installed in an improper location, affecting the measurement accuracy; may also be the control system parameters are set incorrectly, the measurement data to produce interference.


Troubleshooting: Use professional instruments to test the performance of the sensor, such as damage or aging in time to replace; adjust the installation position of the sensor to ensure that the installation is correct; check the parameters of the control system settings, according to the instructions of the equipment for the correct settings.


l Control system failure


Failure analysis: there may be errors in the control program, resulting in abnormal operation of the device; or controller hardware failure, such as chip damage, circuit board short circuit, etc.; may also be a communication line failure, resulting in poor communication between the components.


Elimination methods: restart the device to see if it can return to normal, if not, then check the control program, update or repair; check the controller hardware, use professional tools to detect chips, circuit boards and other components, such as damage to be replaced; check the communication line to ensure that the line is connected to the normal, no breaks, shorts and so on, and if there is a problem in a timely manner to repair or replace the line.
